Eaton Enhances Performance of Industry's Best Engines Eaton is helping to power six of the world's top 10 engines as chosen by Ward's Auto World magazine. The engine winners for 2006 were announced at the North American International Auto Show.
Eaton produces a wide range of hydraulic systems and components including electronic relays, hydraulic hose parts, circuits and circuit breakers to electromechanical and hydraulic actuation systems in aerospace applications for commercial, general and military aircraft.
Featuring Eaton's automatic transfer switch (ATS) technology, the units sense when power is interrupted and will automatically start. When primary power has been restored, the units automatically shut down, providing the safety and security of continuous power, even when homeowners are away.
Boston's Central Artery/Tunnel Project, known as the "Big Dig," spans 7.8 miles of highway, 161 lane miles* in all, about half in tunnels. No part is more challenging than the section where I-90 will cross under I-93.
