D&B Supply, your western home and family store operates eleven retail stores throughout southern Idaho and eastern Oregon. The Idaho locations are Caldwell, Nampa, Meridian, Garden City, Mountain Home, Jerome, and Twin Falls, Idaho. 

I read the other day about a local neighborhood that was having a party for the birds and anyone who wanted to come was invited. It was being held at the elementary school and people brought pinecones, seeds of all sorts, peanut butter and other things to make yummy treats for our feathered friends. 

Last Sunday, I went to one of my most favorite activities of the season, a wreath making party given by one of my good friends and her sister. There is only room for 10 people around the table and the spaces are highly coveted. 

A good friend once told me that Mother Nature abhors a vacuum. Bare, soil screams to have something growing on it and Mother Nature will cover it with weeds if we don't cover it with something ourselves. Good organic mulch is the mainstay of a healthy garden.
